Terms of Service

Last updated: March 28, 2026

Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Old Town Tattoo ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 203 N Hamilton St, Saginaw, MI 48602. By scheduling an appointment or receiving any tattooing services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Age Requirement

Old Town Tattoo strictly does not tattoo anyone under the age of 18, with or without a parent's or guardian's consent. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

All clients must present a valid, government-issued photo identification proving they are at least 18 years of age before any tattooing services will be performed. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver's license, state-issued ID, passport, or military ID. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who cannot provide valid proof of age.

Appointments

Appointments are scheduled through our booking form or by contacting the shop directly. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments at our discretion.

Pricing & Payment

Tattoo pricing is determined on a per-project basis depending on size, complexity, detail, and placement. Final pricing is at the discretion of your artist. All services must be paid in full upon completion. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards.

Price quotes given during consultations are estimates only and may change based on the final design or modifications requested during the session.

Health & Safety

Your health and safety are our top priority. We maintain strict hygiene and sterilization standards in compliance with all applicable Michigan state and local health regulations. All equipment is sterilized and single-use needles are used for every client.

You may be asked to complete a health consent form before your appointment. Please disclose any relevant medical conditions, allergies, or medications. We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe proceeding would pose a health risk to you or our staff.

Sobriety Policy

We will not tattoo anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you arrive at your appointment intoxicated or impaired, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited.

Aftercare & Results

Proper aftercare is essential for optimal healing of your tattoo. We will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions following your session. You can also review our Before/After Care page at any time.

Old Town Tattoo is not responsible for complications, infections, or unsatisfactory healing that results from failure to follow aftercare instructions. Tattoo appearance may vary based on individual skin type, aftercare adherence, and sun exposure.

Touch-Ups

We stand behind our work. If your tattoo requires a touch-up due to normal healing, please contact us to schedule a follow-up appointment. Touch-up policies, including any associated timeframes or fees, are at the discretion of your individual artist.

Consent & Design Approval

You are responsible for reviewing and approving your tattoo design, placement, spelling, and sizing before the tattooing process begins. Once you have given approval and the tattoo process has started, Old Town Tattoo is not liable for any dissatisfaction with the final result based on choices you approved.

Right to Refuse Service

Old Town Tattoo reserves the right to refuse service to any individual for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Inability to provide valid proof of age (must be 18 or older)
  • Appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Requesting hateful, offensive, or discriminatory imagery
  • Disruptive, disrespectful, or threatening behavior toward staff or other clients
  • Health conditions that may pose a risk during the tattooing process

Intellectual Property

All custom tattoo designs created by our artists remain the intellectual property of Old Town Tattoo and the respective artist. Designs are created specifically for the client who commissioned them and should not be replicated, distributed, or used by other parties without permission.

We may photograph completed tattoos for use in our portfolio, social media, or promotional materials unless you request otherwise.

Liability

Tattooing involves inherent risks including but not limited to allergic reactions, scarring, and infection. By receiving a tattoo at Old Town Tattoo, you acknowledge these risks and agree that we are not liable for any adverse reactions or outcomes resulting from the tattoo process, provided we have followed our standard safety and sanitation procedures.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
